Nations is a game where you become a state in an imaginary continent and....well, you command it! 
MAP
Continent 1

Blocks
Each block can be:
Residential - Start with 5. Can contain 1k people per block. (Needs to build: 1k Builders, 1 build token, Takes 5 weeks.)
Industrial - Start with 5. 10 Industries per this type of blocks.(Needs to build: 1k Builders, 1 build token, Takes 3 weeks.)
Military - Can hold to 10k soldiers. (Needs to build: 2k Builders, 5 build token, and 8 weeks.)
Governative - You need it to make laws/stuff. (There is already one upon creation. Only need one)
Commercial - You start with 5 (Needs to build: 1.5 Builders, 5 build tokens and 4 weeks.)
Goldmine - You start with one. (Needs to build: 4k Builders, 20 build tokens, takes 10 weeks.)
1 week - 1 update
War
Wars are monitored by Skeletal.
You ask Skeletal to start war with someone, and it's up to him to accept or not.
Battles
Battles work like this
If two states got proportioned military each other, then it's 50/50.
If a state has 1k troops in excess than the other state, then it gains 5% chance to win a battle. (Stacks up to 75%)
If a state has better military efficience than the other one, then gets +10% chance to win the battle.
 But of course, better military doesn't mean better strategy. With a good strategy you got a good chance to win.
A state wins with the most won battles.
You should PM me your movements to avoid metagame.
If a state conquers a block, it's up to conquering state to decide if to take the residential/industrial/military/commercial block.
You can take the government block ONLY if they have only the government block left
Example
Nation x conquered a block of nation z, nation z has 2 residential blocks, 2 industrial and 3 empty. The nation x can take or the residential, or the industrial or the empty block.
 But if incase nation z has no residential/industrial/military/commercial/empty blocks left, then nazion x is allowed to take empty or governative blocks (without it you can't make laws)
To move from an important city to another, you'll need to wait 5 updates.
Spies
If you want to know other's plans without breaking rule one, then you may need spies.
They can be hired for a percentual of WYP, and their efficency grade is valutated from 0 to 10.
You can decide anytime to look for spies.
You can send them to enemy bases, they can be found out depending by enemies' efficency and spy's grade.
(of course order to send them via PM to avoid metagame)
Economy
Economy is measured in amount of Worker's Yearly pay (WYP).
WYP depends from profits, and to make profits you need to open markets.
To get markets you get commercial blocks.
Every commercial block corresponds to 100 WYP. (it means you gonna need big territory)
Build Tokens
To build industries, residential places, military ect..... you need Build tokens.
The inital amount of build tokens is:
Number of blocks divided by 1.5. (will round down)
Every update you will get 2 build tokens.
Industries
When you build an industrial zone, you can select the 10 industries to be
1- Weapons (Soldiers Efficency will depend from this)
2- Food (Just to keep citizens happy, still essential)
3- Medicines (Keep all soldiers and citizens safe from bad virus!)
4- Welfare (Makes citizen's lives better)
Make sure you balance those out. Also these industries have 4 levels.
I- Makes very bad stuff. (Start with this level)
II- Makes bad stuff. (Pay 2 Industry tokens to upgrade)
III- Stuff made is good. (Pay 5 Industry tokens to upgrade) 
IV- Stuff made is really good. (Pay 10 Industry tokens to upgrade) [Locked until you unlock it]
Industry tokens
You can use them to upgrade your industries.
You start with 20 industry tokens, use them wisely.
You get a token every 5 updates. (also if i forget please remind me)
Goldmine
You need gold to negotiate with other countries (atleast NPC) and to make your money woth more.
To make gold, you need a goldmine. You can place goldmines in a block. You start with one.
If you put 1 gold in the bank, then worth of your currency will increase of 0.01 Marks.
1 Goldmine=10 Gold bars per 5 updates.
2 Goldmine=20 Gold bars per 5 updates
you get the idea.
Religion
Of course, religion can influence the country.
You can choose your religion, but there can be minorances. You have no control over them. (except you can massacre them)
School System
Of course, every country got a school.
When you apply for your country, PM me your school structure.
I'll decide how it will go. You can always change the structure.
Population
There's 3 types of peoples
1- Soldiers (They will serve your state)
2- Citizens (They will work)
3- Hobos (They will do nothing except fill out space)
You need atleast to have 40% of population to be citizens.
Every 1% missing to the needed 40% workers, your WYP will be decreased of 2.5%.
Every 1% of workers that goes over 40%, your WYP will be increased of 5%.
Their position will depend from your school system.
Builders
You need builders to build stuff.
By default you have 3k builders, but every 200 blocks you get (except from that you have chosen), you get 1.5k builders more.
Freedom
You can give citizens some freedom.
There are 5 types of freedom
1- Freedom of Speech
2- Freedom of Privacy
3- Freedom of Labor Choice
4- Freedom of Newspaper
5- Freedom of Private Market 
Quality Of Life
It's measured on of sum of your industries (welfare and furnitures) multiplicated by their level (welfare industry's level) and then divided by the number of blocks, furniture's levels and freedoms given.
if you didn't get it it's:
[(Welfare Industries + Furnitures Industries) x their level : number of blocks] + furniture's level + freedoms given.
Currency
It depends on how much gold do you have in your vault. More it has, more it is worth.
The universal currency is Marks. But it isn't existant, just for measure.
your initial currency to marks worth is 0.10.
Actions
Anytime you can take actions like make a law, start a war, hire generals ect.
Languages
Each country got its language.
When two countries are in contact, they approacher must roll 5.
1-2=They don't understand each other
3-4=Only the approacher can be understood
5=They both understand each other
To make sure you two can be understood, then you need to research the language.
Research Tree
Every 7 Updates or a won battle, you get two Skill points.
You can spend it in skill trees.
You will start with 5 Points

Newspaper
Every update every nation got a "newspaper", listing all news.
If you blocked freedom of newspaper, then I'll PM you all the possible news and you can select 3.
Example
"Student from Italy attacked Russia! War incoming?"
Hour 12.31, the Student pulled out an AK-47 and starting to shoot everyone. Could it be Italy?
"New law pronounced by the President"
The law of Ras pronounced that all Religious people must wear a badge. Could be a bad sign?
"Sports"
Italy won a match agaisnt Germany 10-1!
(of course in real game it will be more detailed)
Crime
Of course, a state can have a level of crime.
It's meausured in %.
You gain 1% crime level for every 50 marks under 500 worker's yearly pay.
And you will also gain 1% crime level for every 1 point of QOL under 7.
If your crime level is 10%, then you will get 1% crime every update if you don't get the necessary QOL/WYP (aka get atleast 500 
WYP or 7 QOL) when you fillfull atleast one of the requirements, then your crime rate will be decreased of 0.5% every update. (until 10%)
Nation Events
Every 10 updates there can be an event.
I'll roll, and each number corresponds to
1- Worker's Yearly pay got increased by 1000.
2- WYP (worker's yearly pay) got decrased by 1000
3- Population is increased of 50%
3- Suddenly 20% of Population disappeared
4- A new disease is discovered. (and it's affecting your nation)
5- Crime level has been risen of 2%
6- Crime level has been decreased of 1%
Incase of war
7- You get some backup soldiers (+200)
8- You lost some of your soldiers (-100)
Incase of high crime level and low quality of life.
7/9- Bank robbery. (Decrease of WYP by 20% and -2 gold)
8/10- Coup d'etat is attempted (you may risk to lose)
9/11 (don't say it i swear to fucking god)- Someone intentionally brought a disease.
10/12- Some people tried to sabotage your plans
Or skeletal can make a custom one.
Global Events
Every 20 updates, there can be an event.
1- New disease has been discovered. (and it's affecting everyone)
2- Every WYP is lowered of 1.5k
3- Every WYP is increased of 2k
4- Crime level is increased of 5%
Or skeletal will just make a custom one or else it will be too monotone.

Since I don't want to make a long list of them, look here

You can assume generals, they have their information gathered like this

Speciality: No speciality.
You might ask, what does Intelligence, Strength and Severity need?
Well, for Intelligence they need it for to make actual good plans.
They also need Strength for assisting in battles.
So they also need Severity, they need it to make their soldiers obey and make 'em efficent.
Speciality? Well, I'm not gonna explain what's 1+1.
CLANS
You can make clans, but I'm not going to monitor them. You monitor your clans. (except for BOT clans)

No metagaming.
You cannot know what are players going to do. To avoid metagame use PMs.
OK: Nation A plans to attack Nation B, Nation B prepares some defenses in their places.
NO OK: Nation A plans to attack Nation B, Nation B instantly knows their plans and immediately attacks Nation A
No warmorgling.
Don't go in attack hysteria, and do not attack states that are weak compared to you. (unless he attacks you)
Only one state.
I'm allowig only one state since you can kind of cheat with 2 states.
(Example: making a state with powerful army while having another with powerful economy and you literally have the most OP state.)
Also, not necessary but reccomended
If you think that if a part of a system is unbalanced, wrong or something else tell what's wrong and how'd you fix it.
That will make this forum game more balanced.

If you attempt to break any of these 3 EXTREMELY simple rules on purpose just to gain personal advantages or give anyone else disadvantages,
your country will get a warning. 
At third warning your country will be resetted.
At second reset you will be bandished. (I'll ignore you in this thread)

The forum game will start once we have enough players. If there's too much absence, then there will be some NPCs monitored by Skeletal.
