Welcome to Blockland! I recommend playing the tutorial and getting acquainted with the game's controls- mainly how to build and fight.
Most servers are hosted at specific times (Jailbreak too), so I recommend checking out the forums to see what cool projects people have going. For example, this Sunday Casino Royale will be hosted again- that's always a fun time. I'm sure Communism will help you out with add-ons, but a good first step is getting Blockland Glass.
