"What the hell are crates and why should I care?"

Crates, or as they would work, hat crates, would be rewarded every hour you clock on jailbreak for the first 10 hours only, or/after that every 5 warden kills.

Crates would come in 3 raritys: Normal, Rare, and Very Rare.

A Normal crate has a 1/2 chance of giving you a hat worth under $5000, or a 1/2 chance of giving $3000.

A Rare crate has a 1/5 chance of giving you a hat worth under $15,000, a 2/5 for a hat worth under $5000, and a 2/5 chance of giving you $3000.

A Very Rare crate has a 1/9 chance of giving you a hat worth under $50,000, a 2/9 chance of giving you a hat worth under $15,000, a 3/9 chance of giving you a hat worth under $5000, and a 3/9 chance of giving you $3000.

The chances of getting a crate after meeting the requirements would be 3/6 for a normal, 2/6 for a rare, and 1/6 for a very rare.

I think this would encourage more people to play Jailbreak often and help newer players get hats faster. I feel like the system could use a bit more adjustments but this is all I could think of for now.

Any thoughts?
