You approach a tan ship with the bodies of multiple Genesis members on it.  You charge your weapons, and the ship charges its own as well.

It fires its weapons first, and unlucky for you, you get a hull breach.

After that you fire, luckily managing to take out the only Scavenger ship in the area.

You take all of the people that you can and bring them to the nearest trade hub, where they can hitch a ride from someone if they wish.  Quite a few offer to join your crew.  Oddly enough, a Genesis cruiser is docked with a recruitment station nearby.  (Hoff that's you if you were wondering)
